Classic Costa Rica: 11 days/10 nights

Trip Highlights:

• Patrol beaches in search of nesting or hatching sea turtles.
• Spot a vast array of wildlife and fauna as you explore canal waterways in the rainforest.
• Walk through a butterfly farm.
• Experience the thrill of rafting down the Class II & III rapids of the Sarapiqui River.
• Learn about rural Costa Rican life first hand as you spend the night with a farm family.
• Explore an organic farm full of surprises.
• Watch red hot lava flow down the sides of an active volcano.
• Fly through the air on a zipline canopy tour.
• Hike to a remote indigenous BriBri community and learn about their way of life.

Available Trip Dates: March through September.

Program Fee:

2010: $1675 land/participant (airfare is additional)

2011: $1695 land/participant (airfare is additional)

Free Travel for Trip Leaders: With 10 participants a trip leader travels free, including air.
