A lifelong traveler, Pam has extensively explored Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Speech Communication, she spent several months traveling through Costa Rica and Central America before embarking on a career in public relations.
While working in public relations, she traveled with EcoTeach on a trip to Costa Rica where she first was introduced to the grandeur of the Leatherback sea turtles.
