EcoTeach has teamed up with Wild Travelers to offer unique and exciting hands on travel experiences in the Jalisco province of Mexico aimed at inspiring both environmental and cultural awareness.
Ariel Duenas Lopez, Founder of Wild Travelers
Mexican born with impressive travel experience, Ariel Duenas Lopez is passionate about plants and animals and dedicates his life to helping others experience Mother Nature’s boundless beauty. The founder of Wild Travellers is fluent in both English, Spanish and French and tells that, “after studying in Mexico, I moved to the United States and Canada for six years before returning to Mexico to work on conservation projects for international charities. My aim is to study and research this fascinating reptile and help understand their preservation.”
Ariel has extensive volunteer leadership experience working with Europe and America’s most renowned gap-year volunteer abroad organizations. From 1998-2004 this Sea Turtle enthusiast organized volunteer programs and spearheaded new educational projects as a director for Teaching & Projects Abroad in Mexico.
Ariel is a member of International Rescue Teams for Sea Life and has been an active member of the Turtle Congress,which raises awareness of the importance of turtle conservation in Mexico.
