Meet EcoTeach!

EcoTeach is committed to conservation and cultural awareness through education.  Established by a teacher in 1994,  EcoTeach has taken nearly 10,000 student and adult travelers to Costa Rica, Peru and Mexico.  Our hands-on activities make long lasting impressions on the communities we visit and the participants themselves. 

EcoTeach brings student groups, teachers, individuals and families to Costa Rica, Mexico and Peru for ecological expeditions that focus on conservation work, authentic cultural exchange, guided exploration and fun. We combine the natural wonders of the country with continuous involvement in local activities, culture and ecology. We give travelers the opportunity to work side-by-side with local community members, and become immersed in the beauty of the country and its people.

As a part of our commitment to make our trips accessible to as many students as possible, we operate EcoTeach Fundraising in partnership with Sol Colibri coffee. Sol Colibri Coffee is made up of more than 1,000 socially and ecologically responsible farmers. By selling organic and fair-trade certified coffee from Costa Rica, students learn the importance of fair trade, protecting the environment and simultaneously help support local farming communities and fund their adventure.  We look forward to showing you how travel can change your world!
