Just download the registration form, fill it out, sign it, and return it along with your nonrefundable $150 deposit, to your teacher.

Travel Insurance

EcoTeach purchases a travel insurance policy from Travel Insured for every traveler. This is included in the cost of the trip, and covers things such as travel delay, emergency medical, emergency evacuation, delayed or damaged baggage. Cancellation coverage and Trip Interruption coverage are NOT included but are available at an additional cost. Please contact Deb at 800-626-8992 x12 or deb@ecoteach.com if you have questions.

Description of Coverage. The policy included with the trip cost is a "$0 Trip Cost" policy and does NOT include trip cancellation and interruption coverage.

Projects & Places

Forms

  • Registration Form: use this to sign up for your trip.
  • Participant Information Form: fill out this form and return to EcoTeach or access your record online and enter or edit your personal information there.
  • Cancellation Form: if you need to cancel, please fill this out and return it to EcoTeach. You will remain an active participant until this form is received.

Fundraising

  • EcoTeach Fundraising: Earn up to $4.00 for each bag of organic and fair-trade certified coffee you sell and help local farmers while you raise $ for your group

Payment Due Dates

All payments can be paid directly to EcoTeach via check or credit card. Checks should be payable to "EcoTeach" and mailed to EcoTeach, PO Box 604, Poulsbo, WA 98370. Please put the traveler's name and group name in the memo section.

Passports/Documentation

A passport is required to enter Costa Rica. For US citizens, no visa is needed but the passport must be valid for 90 days after the day you arrive. Citizens of other countries should check with the Costa Rican Embassy to determine entry requirements. US Citizens can go to U.S. Department of State for passport and travel information.

Immunizations

No immunizations are required to enter Costa Rica, however the Center for Disease Control does have several recommendations. We strongly encourage you consult your doctor or a travel clinic with questions on immunizations as EcoTeach does not provide medical advice.

Flights

Group seats will be reserved. If you prefer to opt out of these flights and make your own travel arrangements, please contact Liz Wall at liz@ecoteach.com or 800-626-8992 x15 at least 4 months prior to your group's scheduled departure date.

Taxes and fees (fuels surcharges, security costs, etc)  imposed by the airlines are subject to change until the tickets are purchased (approximately 3 months prior to your departure date).  Such changes are outside of EcoTeach control. If there is a significant change in the overall price quoted when tickets are purchased, you will receive an invoice for additional charges, if any, or a credit if the fees and taxes have decreased.
